The 2011 Dun Laoghaire to Dingle Race run jointly by the National Yacht Club and Dingle Boat Club starts on Saturday 11th June with a prize giving on Wednesday 15th in Dingle.
Calves Week Regatta takes place in Schull in early August, continuing the annual tradition in West Cork since the inception of the Schull Harbour Sailing Club in 1884.

West Cork's Calves Week Regatta is traditionally held in the first week in August. In 2024, it runs from Tuesday, August 6 to Friday, August 9.
