Tributes have been paid to Corraquill Cruising owner Sean Drumm who died in a tragic accident in Co Fermanagh at the weekend.

As BelfastLive reports, it’s understood the 69-year-old slipped on an icy jetty and fell into the freezing water on Saturday afternoon (2 January) while checking on a boat moored at his marina on the Ballyconnell-Ballinamore Waterway.

Drumm had a decorated GAA career over more than 30 years with his club Teemore Shamrocks, who added: “Sean will always be remembered as a great team mate, true Gael and friend of all who will never be forgotten. May Sean rest in the Peace and Love of God.”

The PSNI said it is investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death but it is “not being treated as suspicious”.
