The Cork Head of the River on Saturday (February 29th) is set to go ahead. The rowing event is scheduled for the Marina in Cork, and it may be able to deal better with the recent bad weather than some other venues. Heads hosted by New Ross, Sligo, Lagan Scullers and Muckross all fell victim to the bad conditions of recent weeks.
Three hundred and fifteen crews are entered for Cork Head. There will be a rolling head between 9.15 and 1.45, with an entry of 163 crews. The other heads will start in this order:
1 - 09:00 - 15 crews
2 - 10:00 - 29 crews
3 - 11:00 - 32 crews
4 - 12:00 - 20 crews
5 - 13:00 - 24 crews
