Rowan remains on podium
Dun Laoghaire sailor Francis Rowan, sailing with UK helm Tom Gillard, goes into the final day of the Fireball Europeans in second place today. A win in race five cemented their position in the top three, and just two races remain between them and a European medal. Racing concludes today in La Rochelle. Vince Horey and Rob Gardner lead overall.

The best of the all-Irish teams are Noel Butler and Seamus Moore in 22nd after five races. Results after six races are not yet available.
