'Pristine' Nelson 34 Stands Out From the Fleet

6th November 2009

Among the hundreds of boats listed on Afloat's boats for sale listing, it's significant that a ten-year-old boat stands out this week. It is well-known that the renowned Nelson marque has a wide range of commercial and pleasure uses from 18' to 75' foot, and this 34-foot version for sale through BJ Marine is no different. This 1998 model is of GRP construction. It has a blue hull and white/grey non-slip decks. There are two single berths in one cabin.

Nelson boats have been built by a large number of builders in the last 30 years and they are currently being built by several yards in the UK and mainland Europe. The early Nelson boats were in fact wooden, clinker built launches and their sea keeping abilities made their hulls suitable as lifeboats.

The interior has blue upholstery. The sea toilet (Lavac) is in a separate compartment. The basin has hot and cold water. The Galley is fitted with a grill, hob and sink. There is a mahogany table and it has a great headroom of 6' 2".

She has been kept to a very high standard throughout and a quick look at the video or viewing the boat will confirm this.

Reduced from Euro 93,000 to Euro 79,000 the boat is seriously for sale, according to BJ Marine.
