Pilot Safe After Crash into Sea

The pilot of a light aircraft has been rescued by Coastguard helicopter off the Tuskar rock , Wexford after crash-landing in the Irish Sea. There were no other passengers onboard the two seater plane, still floating at the scene, according to eyewitness reports. The Pilot is being treated at Waterford Regional Hosptal. Rosslare and Kilmore lifeboats are in attendance. The casualty was first located by Round Britain rowing boat British Orchid. The 'Isle of Inishmore ', an Irish Ferries ship on the Rosslare-Pembroke route is also at the scene.
