Dinghy Racing, Gill has it Covered

Dinghy Racing, Gill has it Covered
Every single garment in the Dinghy range has been designed to aid performance on the water. This ethos runs through the entire collection from Knee Pads to Speedskins. Performance led dinghy gear has never been offered in such an appealing and comprehensive package...until now.

Highlights of the collection include the UV Aero Vest, which provides excellent UV protection (UPF 50+), and gives the trapeze sailor a safe and convenient method of reducing both wind drag and snagging. The styling allows the top to be worn over additional layers such as wetsuits and buoyancy aids and the unique cut-out section allows easy access to harness hooks. Gripper elastic at the hem also reduces movement of the garment during active use.

Also of particular note is the Compressor Vest, taking buoyancy aid performance to another level. Ergonomically shaped; it is designed to work with your body and the stretch neoprene fabric ensures a close low bulk streamlined fit providing full mobility whatever you are doing on the boat. The combination of neoprene and foam construction provides extra warmth and protection from wind chill and water impact. A side zip opening allows for ease of use and a ladder lock side adjustment offers additional fitting adjustment.

Getting the right footwear is of the utmost importance and Gill's Skiff Boot is perfect for the fast-paced, highly agile world of the performance skiff racer. This lightweight boot has an internal split toe design for maximum traction and swift movement around the boat. The thin sole design allows you to 'feel' the boat and ensures that as much of your foot is in contact with the boat at any one time.
