Winds Put Paid to Muckross Head of the River

Muckross Head of the River, set for Saturday at the National Rowing Centre, Farran Woods, has been cancelled. The event, which was originally to be held in early December, will not go ahead because the weather forecast at the venue suggested there would be a strong, gusting winds.
