Drysuit specialists Typhoon International have appointed Galway city-based chandlery Galway Maritime as their leisure distributor for Ireland.
“As a key player in the leisure watersports market, we are always looking at ways to maximise our market share,” says Kevin Coulthard, managing director of Typhoon International.
“Galway Maritime’s long links and proven track record in this market will help propel the Typhoon brand in Ireland to even greater heights.”
Key sales channels will include activity centres, surf schools, kayak hire centres and the dinghy and yacht sailing communities, the British marine products firm adds.
