Two Survey Vessels are for sale by public auction (if not previously sold) by Dominic Daly Auctioneer – in association with Promara Ltd – Noel O'Regan on Thursday, 6th July 2017 at 12 noon at Malahide Marina, Co. Dublin.
The vessels MV Costantoir Bradan and MV Bradan Beatha are being sold on an as is as seen basis.
Both vessels are being sold by direction of the Inland Fisheries Ireland.
Cork is the Port of Registry for both vessels.
Vessel Name: MV Cosantoir Bradan

Cosantoir Bradan was built by Aquastar Workboats, Cork in 1996 under the supervision of BIM. She was delivered on 25th July 1996. She has been used by the Geological Survey of Ireland (GSI) since 2012 as a coastal research vessel.
She is laid out with the saloon on the main deck amidships. The forward wheelhouse is raised and accessed from the saloon. The sleeping quarters are located forward beneath the wheelhouse. A tank space is located amidships below the saloon. The engineroom is located aft with access from a hatch on the main deck. A separate steering compartment is located aft. An inflatable can be carried on the aft deck and launched / recovered with a folding hydraulic crane.

Vessel Name: MV Bradan Beatha
Bradan Beatha was built by Aquastar Workboats, Cork in 1995 under the supervision of the Marine Survey Office, Lloyd’s Register of Shipping and BIM.
She is laid out with wheelhouse and saloon on main deck level. Sleeping quarters are located forward below decks and aft of the collision bulkhead. A tank space is located amidships below the saloon. The engineroom is located aft with access from a hatch on the main deck. An inflatable carried on the aft deck is launched and recovered with a folding hydraulic crane.
The wheelhouse is fitted with a range of communication and navigation equipment listed below. All equipment is reported to be in working order. Wheelhouse visibility is good.
