Queen's Fast but UCD Take Prizes

20th April 2010
Queen's Fast but UCD Take Prizes

UCD’s greater range in terms of entries landed them a clean sweep of the team prizes at the University Championships of Ireland at the NRC in Cork. They had 16 points to spare over Queen’s in the overall category, though Queen’s boasted the best senior men’s eight on view. The Wylie Cup for men went to UCD by virtue of two wins out of the three: they won the intermediate and novice eights. Victories in the senior and intermediate eights secured the Bank of Ireland Cup for women for the Dublin college.
