#rnli – Over 150 members of Malahide Yacht Club and their families gathered on Sunday to toast St Patrick's Day in aid of the RNLI.
Irish eyes were smiling and the craic was mighty as the 30th Powers Hot Whiskey and Irish Coffee Morning helped to ward off the cold as guests gathered to raise a glass to celebrate our national holiday.
Malahide Yacht Club members are keen supporters of the RNLI and many of them dressed up especially for the occasion. Members of the Enchiradis Treis Choir also lended their support.
'The funds raised today will go towards our current fundraising project to fund the running and maintenance costs of the lifeboat station for a week,' said Howth RNLI Fundraising Chairperson Rose Michael.
