Carrickfergus Ruffian 23 Wins National Title at Royal St. George Yacht Club

Carrickfergus Sailing Club visitor Trevor Kirkpatrick skippering 'Carrageen' was the winner of the 12-boat Ruffian 23 National Championships on Dublin Bay after countback.

After seven races sailed and one discard at the Royal St. George Yacht Club, Kirkpatrick had the same 12 nett points as Stephen Gill's Shannagh from the host club. 

Third was the National Yacht Club's Bandit skippered by Ann Kirwan.
