The Ocean Pro Smock and Ocean Pro Hi-Fit Trousers, constructed using Gore-Tex® Pro Shell with Ocean Technology, have all the qualities you’d expect for extreme ocean sailing, including a highly-developed hood and collar system, which features the Dame Award winning Optivision Hood System providing unrivalled peripheral vision. A further development is the incorporation of a Dartex shockcord channel around the top collared edge which offers a more customised fit, while the engineered throat tab gives added spray protection. The close-fitting, internal Latex dry suit-style neck and cuff seals and internal neoprene waist band not only provide comfort in cold, damp conditions but also help keep water ingress to a minimum.
For the all-important EPIRB and knife there’s a specially designed fast draining pocket on the left-hand sleeve, while the large zip-topped front pocket is perfect for stowage. The fast draining, quick access hand warmer pockets on the Ocean Pro Jacket have a Rentex mesh quick drying fleece lining to provide extra comfort in those extreme moments.
The Ocean Pro Hi-Fit Trousers encompass all the same qualities as the Ocean Pro Smock but in addition have fully adjustable elasticated shoulder straps and a two-way, non-corrosive front zip and internal gusset. The high impact knee and seat areas are reinforced with highly durable 500D Cordura and, like the Ocean Pro Jacket, the trousers feature fast draining, quick access hand warmer pockets with water resistant zips and Rentex mesh lining.
