Following the purchase of a different yacht, the owner of the very successful 2019 J/99, Juggerknot II has placed her to sell with Key Yachting Ireland agent Mark Mansfield.

Key Yachting is UK and Ireland agents for J/ Boats, Grand Soleil, Nautitech Catamarans and Tofinou dayboats.

The 33-foot J/99 is a relatively new design from late 2018 and few have come onto the secondhand market to date.

Without a doubt, this is the best-specified J/99 around with both symmetric and asymmetric spinnaker setups. This means a long sprit and bigger chutes when on the asymmetric setup, and then a smaller sprit with a pole when on symmetrical setup. In total, She has 16 sails, all new since 2019, some unused, all from North, including top of the Range 3Di mainsail and headsails. She sports a Code 0, a flying jib, a staysail, an additional offshore mainsail and even a delivery cruising Jib .

The J/99 is an all-purpose design and can be sailed and raced competitively in-shore and offshore in all conditions, short-handed or fully crewed.

Juggerknot II won her class in the 2021 Dun Laoghaire to Dingle Race and previously has won her class overall in Isora season 2020.

She has the IRC friendly fin keel, and the bottom and foils have been professionally prepared.

A sister ship this year won Class One at the Sovereigns Cup in Kinsale against some pretty serious opposition.

Juggerknot II sports a full and extensive set of B&G H5000 instruments, including Autopilot, plus a forestay load cell. Virtually every rope and block onboard has been up specced or upgraded.

Down below, Juggerknot II is fully fitted out for racing and cruising, including two double cabins aft. She has covers on most of the woodwork while racing to protect the finish. Additional removable lightweight pipe-cots come with the boat for extra offshore windward berths.

This J/99 will not be on the market long and represents a substantial discount on new, at an asking price of €169,500, for a boat that is just over two years old.

She is EU VAT paid and so will likely attract substantial interest from European purchasers as well as, hopefully, some Irish interest.
