Key Yachting is the Irish Agent for J Boats and Grand Soleil (also Nautitech Catamarans and Tofinou Day boats).  They are thrilled to see models from each of the Grand Soleil and J Boat ranges perform so well in the D2D race.

Overall Winner and winner of Class 1 was Denis and Annamarie Murphy's Grand Soleil 40 Nieulargo. Warmest congratulations to Denis and the Murphy family, plus all their crew.

Winner of Class 2 was Andrew Algeo's J/99, Juggerknot 2. Second in Class 2 was Simon Knowles J/109, Indian, and completing the Key Yachting Brands hat trick in Class 2 was John Treanor's Grand Soleil 34, Justina.

Showing the dual purpose nature of the J Boats and Grand Soleil brands, many of the above-mentioned yachts are taking a few days cruising back to Kinsale for Sovereigns Week, or back to their home ports.

If you are looking for a boat that will win prizes at a top-level and where you can also cruise in comfort, look no further than the J Boats or Grand Soleil ranges.

We've got a favour to ask

More people are reading Afloat.ie than ever thanks to the power of the internet but we're in stormy seas because advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news sites, we haven’t put up a paywall because we want to keep our marine journalism open.

Afloat.ie is Ireland's only full–time marine journalism team and it takes time, money and hard work to produce our content.

So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

If everyone chipped in, we can enhance our coverage and our future would be more secure. You can help us through a small donation. Thank you.
